Tipping?
Just another ‘no meaning’ thought.
Tip? Have you ever notice about the tipping habits? Based on my PE (personal experience), the amount of tips you give is dependent on:
- How much money you spent for the goods or services. For example, for nice dinner in a fancy restourant, you may have the bill about 300 – 400 thousands, lets say 383.500, but likely you just pay 400.000 and leave (you give 16.500 as tip). The other example, when play billiard, the bill may be 228.000, but you just give the waitress 250.000 and go (22.000 as tip) .But, if you buy ‘Nasi goreng’ (fried rice – red.) for 6.000 – 7.000, you most likely pay 10.000 and you wait for the changes. Another simple example is, when you go by taxi, you tend to pay more than the “argo” or tarriff, if the argo is 23120 you most likely pay 25.000 and do not wait for the changes, BUT, if you go by bus, you even fight to pay 1.500 for the trip.
- Whom you go with. The person beside you also affect the amount of money you spent for tip. If you go alone or just with friends, you tend to wait for changes for every bills you have, but if you go with someone you dating with, you most likely give bigger tips.
- Date. Tip amount also depend on date, which have strong bond to our financial. If it is just after payday, you may give tips generously, but if it is almost pay day, every cents is so valuable, Right?
Hehe.. its just a small thought, what do you think?
